Argeia head painted

Holy crap I love gloss. Gloss gloss gloss. I like gloss. I want to gloss everything. I'll try to get a better shot later. I absolutely love how the lips turned out, and of course they are super-glossed. XD

There are still no batteries to be found, so this is the best picture I can get. After I painted the middle lip line much too dark I gave up on that part and just went ahead and glossed it. XD I just want to do a few more little details and spray the final coat and she will be done for now. I don't know if I want to sell her now. ;n;

on a faceup for my Ligaya head, and I am back to really liking her. XD I think I will have to paint all of them to see which one to keep. Also, the string and stuff I ordered from Volks should ship today. They are super nice about me giving them the wrong billing info XD If I ever get a giant chunk of money again it will be hard to not order a doll that would only have shipping fees from California *shifty eyes* Anyway, pictures when Ligaya is done.

After a grumpy post I decided it was time to do something about it so I just ordered some more elastic and a string puller from the Volks USA site. They have them at Dollmore, and although I do want to get the 70cm sized hakam outfit they offer, I'd like to wait until I have sold one of the NotDoll heads so I have more money.

Also, Ligaya might be the head that goes. XD I'm doing a bit of the faceup outline and I'm pretty sure I like Belladonna better now. Fickle girl is fickle.

Poor phone pictures of a rough faceup layout. The camera's batteries have apparently disappeared and I could only fine one in the junk drawer, so this is all you get for now. XD

Meh

The dolly part of my life has been on hold for a little while. At my job we finally hired two new people so we are not longer understaffed and I'm back to the hours I want. Classes are still sucking up my energy and I have to have a class this summer too, but it's online so it shouldn't be too bad.

My NotDoll situation is still the same. D: I have to buy more elastic and I will definitely need a string puller. Even after using the extra string they sent, it still isn't long enough to pull up through her head and tie a knot (without her being strung ridiculously tight, and I would probably need a hemostat for that). Anyway, I might try to pencil in a bit of a face for some of them with a watercolor pencil. In person I definitely favor Belladonna. Something about the little teeth just gets me that I didn't realize with just the company pictures. I'll post pictures if I get anything decent.

Well, I'm frustrated. I have had to take my NotDoll girl completely apart, and the extra string they sent her with is still too short, so I will have to buy more string plus one of those things that looks like a crochet hook, and a hemostat would be helpful too. I will never unstring another doll for the rest of my life. I also emailed Notdoll for help a couple days ago but they never replied. I just want my girl all together. ;n;

Notdoll Box Opening

A little late to post, but I've been fiddling with her strings. It is a nightmare, but that can be for another post.

The box is beautiful! It is giant, pink, and has a big bow tied around it.

The goodies inside:

These are like a magic eraser, and I'm glad they included them. There are pink lines where her seams are, I guess they are from when she was cast. Just a little rubbing and they came off.

I guess I didn't realize Belladonna has tiny sculpted teeth, I am so in love with them.
