Leeke Horns ~ Construction

The size even looks good on Felicity, my minifee, so I decided to glue in the magnets before we head off to the movies. The first think I learned is that those little magnets are -strong-. I guess of course they have to be since some of the other horns are pretty big and you don't want them falling off especially if you have a thick wig. Okay, so on to the glue part. This is where I have trouble. XD The first one goes in fine, but I really wanted to make sure I had enough glue so on the second one I put too much, and when I pushed the magnet it some super glue squished out. And on to my thumb. Where it still is. It's not that big of a deal, except now I will have to wait quite some time for the glue to dry. I don't want to get bits of tacky half-dried glue on her wig. *tiny shaking fists in corner* Anyway, I'm sure there are instructions on the Leeke site that says to wait 24 hours for the glue to dry before using them, and I will definitely be following this rule.

Okay, as I'm writing this I'm glad I used a bunch of glue in one horn. I got it too close to its matching magnet and it held strong even after a few minutes. The other one flew right out. Soooo I added more glue to the other one and placed it in again. I will just scrape the excess dried glue off later. Also ~Craft tip of the Daaaaaay!~ When working with strong magnets, do not use tweezers made of metal. Gah I'm clueless sometimes. XD Wow. Okay I'll have pictures up by tomorrow.
